Motorcyclist Killed in Watsonville Crash Identified
Watsonville, California: 28-year-old German Melgoza Menchaca was identified by the Santa Cruz County Coroner’s Office as the motorcyclist who died after colliding with an SUV on July 1 in Watsonville.
According to the Watsonville Police Department, at around 2:30 p.m., Menchaca collided with an SUV near Hushbeck Avenue and Bridge Street under unclear circumstances.
Emergency personnel attempted to resuscitate the motorcyclist, but he died at the scene.
The SUV driver was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
No other information was given.
