Motorcyclist Seriously Injured After Colliding with Tow Truck in Walnut Creek
Walnut Creek, California: A motorcyclist sustained major injuries after colliding with a tow truck Wednesday morning in Walnut Creek.
The California Highway Patrol said the collision took place at about 9:16 a.m. on the eastbound State Route 24 to the southbound Interstate 680 connector.
A sports bike collided with a white tow truck for an unknown reason.
The rider and the bike were blocking the Nos. 3 and 4 lanes.
Firefighters responded to the scene and took the motorcyclist to the hospital with major injuries.
The motorcycle was towed away with major damage all over.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
