Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in I-880 Crash in Hayward
Hayward, California: A motorcyclist was hospitalized with severe injuries after colliding with a car Monday morning on Interstate 880 in Hayward, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident occurred around 7:26 a.m. in the southbound lanes north of Hacienda Avenue near San Lorenzo.
A Yamaha motorcycle and a green Hyundai Tucson were involved in the collision.
The rider sustained severe injuries. The patient was hospitalized in unknown condition.
CHP officers are investigating the cause of the accident.
