Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Watsonville Accident
Watsonville, California: A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic collision that happened Sunday evening on State Route 1 in Watsonville, authorities said.
The incident occurred at around 6:38 p.m. in the southbound lanes north of State Route 129.
A motorcycle collided with a car under unclear circumstances.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and requested an air ambulance to transport the rider to the hospital.
The victim suffered major injuries in the accident.
Investigators did not immediately determine the cause of the accident.
