Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in West Valley Hit-and-Run Accident
Peoria, Arizona: A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run collision that happened Wednesday morning in the West Valley.
According to Peoria police, the incident was reported around 8:15 a.m. on Northern Avenue near the Loop 101 on and off ramps.
Police said the crash involved a motorcyclist and at least one driver who fled the scene.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators closed Northern Avenue in both directions between 91st and 98th Avenues as they worked the scene.
