Contra Costa, California – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a major motorcycle accident that severely hurt a rider on Tuesday evening in Concord, Contra Costa.
The collision happened at about 7:34 p.m. on southbound 80 Freeway, just north of Concord Avenue.
Police said a black Dodge and a motorcycle crashed in unclear circumstances. The vehicle busts into flames following the collision.
The rider suffered severe injuries due to the crash.
Police did not reveal the condition of the driver.
