Multiple Injured in Crash Involving MTA Bus in Florence-Graham Area

Los Angeles, California: Five people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision involving an MTA bus that happened Sunday evening in the Florence-Graham area of Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department said the accident happened around 7:55 p.m. near E. Florence  Avenue and Compton Avenue.

Emergency personnel from LACFD responded to the scene after the crash.

At least five people were taken to nearby hospitals with varying extents of injuries. Their conditions remained unknown.

Investigators said the collision occurred when one of the two cars hit an MTA bus from behind. The second car then hit the back of the first.

Authorities are investigating the accident.
