Multiple Injured in Wrong-Way Collision on 101 Freeway in Camarillo
Camarillo, California: Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened early Sunday morning on the 101 Freeway in Camarillo.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pileup occurred just after midnight in the northbound lanes at Camarillo Springs Road.
A car was reportedly driving the wrong way when it caused a crash involving at least eight vehicles.
Authorities said several people were injured but did not mention the extent of the injuries.
Investigators closed all northbound lanes until around 4 a.m.
