Noah Garcia Killed in Cathedral City Crash at Cathedral Canyon Drive and 33rd Avenue

Cathedral City, California – 19-year-old Noah Garcia was killed in a collision that left five other people injured at an intersection in Cathedral City on Monday.

The Cathedral City Police Department says the accident happened around 9:21 p.m. at Cathedral Canyon Drive and 33rd Avenue.

Garcia was driving a car northbound at a high rate of speed when he crashed into a car that was making a turn onto 33rd Avenue.

The impact of the collision caused Garcia’s car to continue north before crashing into two parked vehicles.

Garcia was critically injured and rushed to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Four passengers in Garcia’s car were also injured in the crash.

A passenger in the second car was also injured but the driver was unhurt.

All the injured parties were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

More details about the crash were not provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
