One Injured in Two-Car Accident on Hwy 101 in San Luis Obispo
San Luis Obispo, California: One person was hurt in a two-vehicle accident that happened Thursday afternoon on Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident was reported at about 5:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes near the Los Osos Valley Road off-ramp.
The wreck involved a silver Hyundai and a blue Kia.
CHP officers, The San Luis Obispo Police Department, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office Probation Unit, and a Templeton Fire Department paramedic responded to the scene.
One driver was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
The collision caused traffic to back up from the Los Osos Valley Road exit to the area near the Broad Street ramps.
