One Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-5 in Carlsbad
Carlsbad, California: One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Saturday morning on Interstate 5 in Carlsbad, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident was reported around 4:40 a.m. on the southbound side of the freeway, north of McClellan-Palomar Airport.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision. At least one car overturned.
Authorities said one person died in the accident.
Investigators closed all the southbound lanes of the freeway at Palomar Airport Road during an investigation.
