One Person Dead, Another Arrested after Crash in Arden-Arcade
Sacramento County, California: A woman died, and a man was arrested after a suspected DUI collision that happened early Thursday morning at an intersection in Arden-Arcade.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Fair Oaks Boulevard at Mission Avenue.
Investigators said a man in his 20s was driving a Dodge Ram west on Fair Oaks Boulevard and a woman in her 60s was driving a Chevrolet Camaro south on Mission Avenue.
The vehicles collided at the intersection.
The woman was killed in the crash.
The man was not hurt. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
