One Person Dies in Car Versus Train Accident in San Joaquin County
San Joaquin County, California: One person died in a collision involving a car and a train that happened Sunday evening at an intersection near Stockton.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 6:10 p.m. at Armstrong and Pearson roads.
Investigators said a driver of a Honda was traveling westbound on Armstrong when they attempted to beat the train and got hit.
The driver died in the collision.
No other person was inside the car.
