Sacramento, California: One person was injured in a scooter accident that happened Tuesday afternoon in Sacramento.
The accident was reported around 5:45 p.m. on the Calvine Road off-ramp from Highway 99 near Elk Grove.
The California Highway Patrol said a scooter rider was hit by a car for an unknown reason.
The rider suffered minor injuries.
