One Person Killed, Another Injured in Crash on SR-905 in Otay Mesa
Otay Mesa, California: One person died in a crash involving a Caltrans truck that happened Tuesday afternoon in Otay Mesa.
The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department said the crash occurred around 2:20 p.m. on State Route 905 at Britannia Boulevard.
The California Highway Patrol said a car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed into a Caltrans truck parked on the side of the road.
One person died in the accident.
Another person was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Caltrans said all lanes of westbound SR-905 were closed following the crash.
