One Person Killed in Fiery Pursuit Crash on 710 Freeway in Long Beach
Long Beach, California: One person died, and several others were hurt in a fiery collision involving a car being chased by police in Long Beach.
The Monday night accident happened around 10:25 p.m. on the northbound 710 Freeway near Anaheim Street.
Authorities said a vehicle was being pursued by police officers when it crashed into the front of a semi-truck and caught fire.
One person died in the crash.
At least four others were injured. Some of the victims were hospitalized with major injuries.
Northbound lanes of 710 Freeway were closed until around 1:30 a.m. following the collision.
