One Person Killed in I-10 Car Crash in Avondale
Avondale, Arizona: The Arizona Department of Public Safety said one person died in a Tuesday night collision that happened on Interstate 10 in Avondale.
Authorities said around 9:30 p.m., a car rear-ended another vehicle near the Avondale Boulevard exit.
Both drivers got out of their vehicles and stood in the middle of the roadway when they were struck by a third car.
One driver of the first two cars died at the scene.
The driver of the third vehicle was hospitalized with minor injuries.
It was not clear if the driver of the second car was hurt.
Authorities did not immediately determine the cause of the collision.
