Sutter County, California: One person was hurt in a traffic collision that happened Monday afternoon near Nicolaus in Sutter County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 3:40 p.m. on Highway 99 near Highway 70.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident.
At least one person suffered major injuries in the crash.
Caltrans responded to the scene and closed southbound Highway 99 near the scene as rescue crews worked the scene.
