One Person Seriously Injured in Crash on I-880 in Oakland
Oakland, California: One person was severely injured in a traffic collision that happened early Saturday morning on Interstate 880 in Oakland, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident occurred around 3:25 a.m. in the southbound lanes just south of the Interstate 980 overcrossing.
At least two vehicles were involved in the accident.
One person suffered major injuries in the crash, including a laceration to the face. Oakland firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
