One Person Seriously Injured in Head-On Collision on SR-46 at McMillan Canyon Road
Shandon, California: One person suffered major injuries in a head-on collision that happened Saturday evening in Shandon.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident was reported around 7:14 p.m. on westbound State Route 46 at McMillan Canyon Road.
Two vehicles collided head-on, and one of them overturned onto its side. One of the cars also caught fire after the impact.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and helped at least one person who sustained major injuries in the collision.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene with crash damage.

The man was crossing the street in the area when he was struck by a car.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
The name of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
The driver of the car stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
