Santa Clara, California: One person sustained life-threatening injuries in a multi-car accident that happened Monday afternoon at an intersection in Santa Clara.
Authorities said the pileup happened at about 3:50 p.m. on southbound Lawrence Expressway at El Camino Real.
Three vehicles collided for an unknown reason.
One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. No other person was injured.
