One Person Suffers Major Injuries in Possible DUI Crash in Salinas
Salinas, California: Authorities are investigating a serious injury collision that sent one person to the hospital Sunday night in Salinas.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place around 11:29 p.m. at Sconberg Parkway and Freedom Parkway.
Responding authorities found a black Honda and a silver sedan in a ditch after they collided at the intersection.
One person who sustained a broken right leg and intrusion to his head was rushed to Natividad Medical Center by paramedics.
Investigators said impairment is a possible factor contributing to the accident.
An investigation is ongoing.
