One Person Trapped in Head-On Collision on SR-152 in Gilroy
Gilroy, California: One person was severely injured in a head-on accident that happened Thursday afternoon in Gilroy.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident took place around 12:51 p.m. on westbound State Route 152 near Whitehurst Road.
Two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason.
CHP Officers and firefighters responded to the scene and found one person trapped inside the wreckage.
The victim was freed and taken to the hospital with major injuries.
CHP officers are investigating the accident.
