Oscar Bautista Killed in Escondido Motorcycle Accident at River Road and Festival Drive
Escondido, California – 51-year-old Oscar Antonio Bautista has been identified as the motorcyclist who died in a collision last week in Escondido.
The collision happened at around 5:29 p.m. on January 4, in the area of River Road and Festival Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Oceanside man was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle westbound on River Road when he crashed into an eastbound GMC pickup truck that was making a U-turn.
The rider was airlifted to Palomar Medical Center where he died on January 14.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
