Riverside, California – The Riverside County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who was killed in a rear-end crash that happened early Saturday morning in Riverside.
The accident occurred around 1:26 a.m. on the Riverside (215) Freeway near Alessandro Boulevard.
The California Highway Patrol says two vehicles and a big rig collided on the freeway in unclear circumstances.
One person had to be extricated from the wreckage by the Riverside County Fire Department crew who responded to the incident.
23-year-old Oscar Mancillas Jr., of Perris, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
A second person was also killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
