Patricia Cooper Killed in Simi Valley Bicycle Accident on Fitzgerald Road
Simi Valley, California – Patricia Cooper, 45, has been identified as the bicyclist who was fatally struck by a car on Thursday afternoon in Simi Valley.
The accident happened on Fitzgerald Road at Erringer Road at around 1:45 p.m., according to the Simi Valley Police Department.
A 2022 Mercedes-Benz SUV was travelling south on Erringer when it struck the bicyclist in the crosswalk.
Cooper was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car was unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
