Patricio Aguilera Dies After Motorcycle Accident on Highway 86 near 76th Avenue
Thermal, California – The rider killed in a motorcycle accident on Sunday morning in Thermal has been identified as 45-year-old Patricio Aguilera of Winchester, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash occurred at about 6:35 a.m. on California Route 86, south of 76th Avenue.
Police said Aguilera was riding a Harley Davidson when he slammed into the rear of a northbound 1987 Nissan pickup truck.
Aguilera was thrown off his bike and he landed on the center divider.
He suffered fatal injuries due to the collision.
The pickup truck driver, a 47-year-old man from Thermal, sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
No additional information regarding this crash was provided.
The incident remains under investigation.

According to the Sacramento Metro Fire District, the accident occurred around 1:50 p.m. at Antelope and Roseville roads.
Three vehicles collided, trapping two occupants in the wreckage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the victims. The patients were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.

Irvine, California: 65-year-old Kenneth Joseph McLeod died after he collided with a car while riding a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Irvine.
The accident was reported around 4:50 p.m. at Alton Parkway and Foster.
Investigators said McLeod was riding a motorcycle southbound on Alton when he ran a red light at Foster and crashed into a Tesla turning left from northbound Alton onto westbound Foster.
The Tesla had a green light at the time of the crash.
McLeod died at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Victorville, California: A woman riding a motorized wheelchair was injured when she was hit by a car Thursday morning at an intersection in Victorville.
The accident was reported around 8:48 a.m. at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road.
Victorville police, firefighters, and AMR responded to the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
A man driving a black Nissan was found at the scene but it was not clear if he was the driver involved in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
