Paul Piette Injured in Victorville Bicycle Accident at Mariposa and Nisqualli Roads
Victorville, California – 56-year-old Paul Piette was hospitalized in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle at an intersection in Victorville last week Friday.
The crash happened at around 8:19 p.m. in the area of Mariposa and Nisqualli Roads.
Police say Piette was riding his bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle.
Emergency crew responded to the scene and transported Piette to a nearby hospital where he was later airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center in critical condition.
Piette was with his dog which ran away after the crash and was hit by a vehicle. It was taken to Victor Valley Animal Hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
