Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit by Vehicle on Nimitz Boulevard in San Diego
San Diego, California: A man was hit and killed by a car Thursday morning near an intersection in the Point Loma neighborhood of San Diego.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident happened at about 6:18 a.m. on Nimitz Boulevard and Chatsworth Boulevard.
A man was allegedly crossing the street when he got hit by a red Kia.
San Diego Fire-Rescue personnel responded to the scene and found the victim lying unconscious with a serious head injury.
The victim was rushed to UCSD Medical Center in Hillcrest but later died from his injuries.
Police officers are investigating to determine the factors surrounding the crash.
