Sacramento, California – One person was killed following a pedestrian collision on Thursday night in Sacramento, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The deadly accident happened on the westbound Interstate Freeway, just east of Raley Boulevard on-ramp.
A pedestrian was hit by a Subaru Forester for unknown reasons.
The pedestrian was killed in the accident.
The Subaru sustained significant front-end damage and was removed from the site by a tow truck.
An investigation is ongoing.
