Pedestrian Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash in Gardena
Gardena, California: A pedestrian died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver early Tuesday morning in Gardena, authorities said.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened on Rosecrans Avenue, just west of Broadway.
The report said a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle that did not stop to render aid.
The victim died in the crash.
No information was given on the driver and car involved.
Investigators closed the area as they worked the scene.
