Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Car in Bakersfield Identified
Bakersfield, California: 44-year-old Kalliope Kione Mediciano of Clovis was the pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle on August 2 in Bakersfield, the Kern County Coroner’s Office said.
The accident occurred around 12:20 a.m. in the 2000 block of Mettler Frontage Road.
Emergency personnel responded and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
