Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Car in Huntington Beach
Huntington Beach, California: A 46-year-old Huntington Beach man died after being hit by a car Sunday night in Huntington Beach.
The Huntington Beach Police Department said the accident happened around 10 p.m. on Beach Boulevard north of Speer Drive.
A 33-year-old Huntington Beach woman was driving a 2003 Lincoln Navigator southbound in the No. 4 Lane of Beach Boulevard when, for an unknown reason, she hit the man.
The pedestrian was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver cooperated with investigators.
The crash is being investigated by the HBPD Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team (MAIT).
