Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Car in Stanislaus County
Stanislaus County, California: A 20-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident that happened Monday evening in Stanislaus County, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to officers, the accident occurred at about 7:55 p.m. on Patterson Road near Kaufman Road.
A 20-year-old man was walking westbound on Patterson when he was struck by a car driven westbound by a 43-year-old Modesto man.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers are investigating the accident.
