Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Car on I-10 in West Covina
West Covina, California: A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Monday night on a freeway in West Covina.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened at around 10:13 p.m. on the westbound Interstate 10 just east of Vincent Avenue.
A female pedestrian was reportedly walking in traffic lanes when she was hit by a car.
Firefighters responded to the scene and closed several traffic lanes.
The pedestrian died from her injuries.
CHP officers are investigating the collision.
