Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Patrol Car in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California: A pedestrian died after being struck by a Los Angles Police Department Patrol vehicle Friday afternoon.
The accident happened just after 5 p.m. on Century Boulevard and McKinley Avenue.
LAPD said a patrol unit with an on-duty officer behind the wheel hit a pedestrian in the area.
The victim was hospitalized in critical condition but later died.
No officers were injured.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
