Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Car in Arden-Arcade
Sacramento County, California: A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle late Sunday afternoon in Sacramento County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on the 3000 block of Marconi Avenue Lacy Lane.
According to authorities, a pedestrian crossed in front of a car traveling westbound and was hit.
The pedestrian died at the scene.
Police officers are investigating the accident.
