Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Car in Palm Springs
Palm Springs, California: A man died Monday evening after he was hit by a car while attempting to cross a street in Palm Springs.
The Palm Springs Police Department said the fatal crash took place around 6:52 p.m. in the 600 block of South Palm Canyon Drive near Indian Canyon Drive.
Authorities said a man was trying to cross the street near the intersection when he was struck by a car.
The pedestrian died from injuries sustained in the accident.
The driver of the car stopped and cooperated with investigators.
Police closed South Palm Canyon Drive between Camino Parocela and Sunny Dunes for investigation.
