Pedestrian Hit and Killed by DUI Suspect in Anaheim
Anaheim, California: Authorities are investigating a pedestrian accident that left a woman dead and a DUI suspect arrested Saturday evening in Anaheim.
According to the Anaheim Police Department, the accident happened around 6:20 p.m. on Brookhurst Street north of Ball Road.
A woman was hit by a car for an unknown reason.
Emergency personnel responded and transported the victim to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver involved stopped and cooperated with investigators. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
