Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Semi-Truck in Riverside
Riverside, California: The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly pedestrian accident that happened early Thursday morning on the 91 Freeway in Riverside.
The crash was reported around 12:15 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the freeway at La Sierra Avenue.
CHP said a big rig hit a pedestrian under unclear circumstances.
The victim died in the accident.
Investigators closed traffic lanes near the scene during an investigation.
