Pedestrian in Wheelchair Fatally Hit by SUV in Lancaster
Lancaster, California: A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle Friday night at an intersection in Lancaster.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lancaster Station, the accident took place around 11 p.m. at Sierra Highway and Milling Street.
Authorities said a man in a wheelchair was crossing the intersection east to west when he was hit by an SUV driven north on Sierra Highway by another man.
The pedestrian died in the accident.
Authorities are investigating the crash.
