Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Being Hit by Vehicle in Salinas
Salinas, California: A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car Thursday morning in Salinas, authorities said.
The incident took place around 4:39 a.m. on John Street just east of North Sanborn Road.
Police said the pedestrian walked onto the street in front of a car and got hit.
The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and listed in critical condition.
The driver of the car stopped and remained at the scene.
The accident is under investigation by Salinas police.
