Linda, California: A pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle Friday morning at an intersection in Linda, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident was reported just before 8 a.m. at North Beale Road and Lindhurst Avenue.
A teenage girl was struck by a black GMC pickup truck under unclear circumstances.
Yuba County sheriff’s deputies and firefighters responded to the scene.
The victim sustained major injuries in the accident.
Authorities are investigating the crash.
