Los Angeles, California – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in the Harbor Gateway area of Los Angeles on Thursday night.
The fatal crash happened at around 10:30 p.m. in the area of Vermont Avenue and Knox Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The 52-year-old man was reportedly struck by a beige BMW SUV that was traveling northbound on Vermont Avenue.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The 42-year-old driver of the SUV stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
