San Francisco, California – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Tuesday evening in San Francisco.

The accident was reported at around 7 p.m. on US Highway 101 near the Grand Avenue offramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The pedestrian, identified as a Hispanic man between the ages of 30 and 40, was walking in the area and was struck by a car.

The victim was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
