Phoenix, Arizona – The Arizona Department of Public Safety has identified Perter Stump, 40, as the passenger killed in a two-vehicle accident on Monday night in Phoenix.
The accident occurred at about 8:30 p.m. on eastbound 10 Freeway near Warner Road.
Authorities said they were in the area to respond to a pedestrian accident that happened when a pedestrian jumped over the center divider onto the freeway for unknown reasons.
As the police were detaining the individual, two cars crashed in the location in unclear circumstances.
Simp, a passenger in one of the vehicles, was declared dead at the crash site.
