Police Investigating Deadly Motorcycle Collision in Venice
Los Angeles, California: A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car Friday night at an intersection in Venice, police said.
At around 10:55 p.m., a man of about 35 years was riding a motorcycle south on Lincoln Boulevard when an 81-year-old man driving a car attempted to turn westbound onto Lake Street from Lincoln.
The motorcyclist collided with the passenger side of the vehicle.
The rider sustained severe injuries and died at the scene, as per the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. He refused hospitalization.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
