Police Officer, 2 Others Hospitalized After Car Crash in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California: A police officer and two others were hospitalized after a traffic collision that occurred Wednesday afternoon in southeast Bakersfield.
The Bakersfield Police Department said the accident was reported just after 4 p.m. on Brundage Lane at Liggett Street.
Authorities said the officer was driving a patrol car eastbound on Brundage Lane when the driver of a Hyundai sedan made a left turn toward Highway 58 at Liggett Street.
The vehicles collided, leaving the officer and two people in the Hyundai with minor injuries. All the patients were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
