Rachel Calvillo Killed in Bakersfield Crash at Pioneer Drive and Dennison Lane

Bakersfield, CA. – 29-year-old Rachel Breanne Calvillo has been identified as the woman who died in a car crash in Bakersfield in February.

The fatal collision happened around 1:35 a.m. in the area of Pioneer Drive and Dennison Lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A Chevrolet and a Honda collided on the roadway in unclear circumstances.

Calvillo, a resident of Bakersfield, was found unresponsive inside the Honda and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

Two other people were taken to Kern Medical.

The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as Gabriel Coronel, was arrested for felony gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and felony DUI causing injury.

The driver of the Honda, identified as Brayden Aragon, was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
