Randy Gibson Fatally Struck by Car on East Plaza Boulevard in National City
National City, California – 50-year-old Randy Lee Gibson has been identified as the man who died after being hit by a car last week in National City.
The fatal collision happened on East Plaza Boulevard, just west of 805 Freeway, at around 5:10 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The man was walking in the area when he was struck by a car.
He was transported to an area hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
